  • Denver County Court is outside the state court system; requests go directly to that court1
  • Denver Probate Court has exclusive probate jurisdiction for the City and County of Denver; elsewhere probate is in district court8

Official warnings

  • Commercial court-record sites are not the official record (Colorado Judicial Branch)1

Official copies vs look-alike sites

A certified copy comes only from the office that holds the record; reports and "research copies" sold by commercial sites are not issued by any Colorado office. How to tell an official record source from a paid look-alike.
