Copy fee

No statewide per-page amount: a county clerk may charge a reasonable copy fee that may not exceed the actual cost of duplication (materials and supplies only, no labor or overhead). Example: Laramie County $0.50 per printed page, $1.00 per page emailed.1

How to search

Search at the county clerk's office (public terminals, free) or via the county's linked online services; research by legal description, not street address. Clerks do not do research for the public.2

How Wyoming handles it

  • In smaller counties (other than first- and second-class), the elected county clerk is also ex officio clerk of district court, so deeds, marriage licenses, elections and court files may sit in one office4
  • Laramie County Clerk offers a free Document Alert (via iDoc Market) to warn owners of new recordings against their name/property (deed-fraud protection)2

Official copies vs look-alike sites

A certified copy comes only from the office that holds the record; reports and "research copies" sold by commercial sites are not issued by any Wyoming office. How to tell an official record source from a paid look-alike.
