Statewide lookup
No single state parcel database; Department of Revenue lists every county assessor with links to each county's parcel search (many use Nebraska Assessors Online / Nebraska Taxes Online operated by the Nebraska Association of County Officials, or gWorks/Schneider sites). Statewide parcel GIS layers are on NebraskaMAP.2
Looking up a property and appealing a value

How Nebraska handles it
- Separate juvenile courts exist only in Douglas, Lancaster and Sarpy counties; elsewhere the county court handles juvenile matters. Douglas, Lancaster and Sarpy also have different property-tax delinquency dates (April 1/August 1).5
- Several county fees changed July 18, 2026 (2026 legislation): marriage license $25 to $50, county certified marriage copy $9 to $16, documentary stamp tax $2.32 to $3.32 per $1,000 (through Dec 31, 2031). Older county pages may still show old amounts.6

Official copies vs look-alike sites
A certified copy comes only from the office that holds the record; reports and "research copies" sold by commercial sites are not issued by any Nebraska office. How to tell an official record source from a paid look-alike.
