Maps: county parcels
MARIS publishes a 'Statewide Cadastral Framework (County Parcels)' GIS map service (layer dated August 2023, REST endpoint gis.mississippi.edu/…) - a GIS data service, not an owner/tax lookup; current parcel and tax data stay with each county Tax Assessor7

How Mississippi handles it

  • Chancery Clerk is the county land-records office and clerk of the Chancery Court (divorce, probate, guardianship) and also clerk to the Board of Supervisors' tax-roll/appeal work1

Official copies vs look-alike sites

A certified copy comes only from the office that holds the record; reports and "research copies" sold by commercial sites are not issued by any Mississippi office. How to tell an official record source from a paid look-alike.
